Montaria Mask

Reusable social mask made from the traditional brown scarf from Viana do Castelo.

Montaria is a parish in Viana do Castelo better known as São Lourenço da Montaria which, as the name suggests, is a privileged place for art and hunting. At the top of Serra D'Arga it has the famous Senhora do Minho, with an incredible view over the mountains and also has waterfalls, with greater emphasis on the "Pincho".

The Papaya Mask is the result of Minho resilience, of women who carry art in their hands and generational strength in their hearts.

At a time of pandemic, when they lost their jobs, they combined will and need, love and opportunity, to create a product that is, above all, a message of hope.
