Barroselas is a village in Viana do Castelo, which had other names like Capareiros and later the Vale do Lima Municipality.

It is in this location that the largest Portuguese Heavy Metal festival, SWR Barroselas Metalfest, takes place.. Every year bands from different countries and different genres are invited to join Metal.

The Papaya Mask is the result of Minho resilience, of women who carry art in their hands and generational strength in their hearts.

At a time of pandemic, when they lost their jobs, they combined will and need, love and opportunity, to create a product that is, above all, a message of hope.
